INTERVIEW: Graham Hancock Speaks Out

Graham-Hancock

Graham Hancock is one of the most eminent researcher-writers on true world history. His book Fingerprints of the Gods verified my suspicion [1] that we are not the world’s first great civilization and helped propel me down a new path in my journey. He has also become an outspoken proponent of the use of Ayahuasca as a way to open the mind and expand the consciousness.

When William Henry announced that Graham would be speaking at the Revelations Symposium in Nashville, I signed up and booked my flight.

We spent 3 days in the intimate beauty of the Scarritt-Bennett Center listening and learning from Graham, William and Whitley Strieber. Then as the chairs were being folded and with only minutes before leaving for the airport, he graciously agreed to sit down with me and field a few questions:

1. In regards to your first book The Sign & the Seal do you think we should insist on examination of the artifact at Axum? Would we ever be allowed?

2. In Fingerprints of the Gods you proved that we know a lot less than we think we know about the history of mankind on Earth. What for you is the critical information that needs to be taught to our kids, to the general population…and how will that change the way we see ourselves today?

3. I find Zecharia Sitchin’s research intriguing but I’m not totally convinced. How much credence do you hold to the idea that we may have been genetically modified slaves of an advanced alien species?

4. According to Israeli archeologists Amnon Ben-Tor and Sharon Zuckerman there is no physical evidence for The Exodus as told in The Bible [2] (click ‘transcript’)…suggesting that perhaps the Ark of the Covenant didn’t come from Egypt but was already in Jerusalem. Might the Ark hold a crucial piece of Zecharia Sitchin’s alien landing beacon?

Hancock-Books

5. Why did you decide that writing fiction would be an appropriate move for your writing career?

6. In Entangled, you introduce the idea of magic mushrooms, what The Clan call “Demon Penises” and the Uglies call “Little Teachers”. Is psilocybin a hallucinogen or a key to open a door to another dimension?

7. What do you think the role of psychedelics were in ancient civilizations…and how do you think they can help our modern, disjointed world?

8. What if anything do you think will come of the TEDx Talks controversy? A more open discussion on “what is science”….?

9. Are you a spiritual anarchist?

10. Who or what is God?

Graham Hancock’s new book War God will be available through Amazon UK on May 30th and later this year through Amazon Canada on August 13. You can likewise read a few sample chapters for free at the website War-God.com

Interview: Stephen S. Mehler

Stephen-S-Mehler

EARLIER THIS WEEK I had the opportunity to speak via Skype with Stephen S. Mehler, the author of The Land of Osiris and From Light into Darkness. He is one of the authors who inspired me to take my exploration of consciousness studies back in time to see if I could augment my understanding on the subject. I was looking for clues to what these ancient civilizations may have already known:

1. Who were the Khemitians?

2. What do we know about their religion…or spiritual beliefs?

3. Where the Hebrews from Khemit or from a previous civilization?

4. How are the Sufi connected to Khemit?

4a. Have the Sufi been able to stay true to their traditions or have they bent to modern Islam?

Stephan S. Mehler & Abd’El Hakim Awyan

Stephen S. Mehler & Abd’El Hakim Awyan

5. How old are the pyramids at Giza…and how can you be sure?

6. Who built the pyramids at Giza?

7. What is the Ur Nil (or Protonile) and what is it’s significance to the pyramid complex at Giza?

8. In your book “The Land of Osiris” you introduce Victor Schauberger’s theory that in the union of hydrogen and oxygen to form water a great deal of potential “energy” was stored. Could the pyramids have been used to tap into this energy?

9. In my book I hope to draw a comparison between the imagery of Horus being anointed with water by Thoth and the Baptism of Jesus (see picture below). The dove appearing over Jesus’ head is not simply “holy spirit” but a representation of a Khemitian-like advanced state of awareness/consciousness…and that the purpose of the icon is as a do-it-yourself guide. What are your thoughts on that idea?

10. Do you feel we have been mislead (on purpose or not) about the history of our planet?

My feeling is that there is a lot we can learn from looking into the past while we forge ahead with new scientific discovery. What we are learning today may have been already known, we need to find the clues that may be in plain sight.

Your comments and questions are invited below.

Seeing Is Believing

“The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.” – Luke 8:10

THE FURTHER I GO down this rabbit hole the more I see those sometimes archaic images, icons and parables, passed down through time for what they really are. All it takes is a bit of effort to see and hear the story these sometimes grotesquely out of place symbols are trying to tells us…to enlighten us, wake us up.

Wisdom
Case in point: Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

In 2009, on a visit to the Big Apple and on our way to Top of the Rock the absolute best way to take in the entire skyline of New York City BTW, we passed through the main entrance at 30 Rockefeller Square, the home of NBC.

As you enter the building peering down at you is a commanding low-relief panel carved into the limestone simply titled “Wisdom”. It was created by German born Lee Lawrie and is meant to represent the creative power of the Universe. The message underneath his spread fingers reads, “Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times”…two golden spikes extend his fingers as if to emphasize the potency of those words.

Wisdom

Words of Wisdom

It wasn’t until a couple of years later that I drew a comparison to some of the other work I was doing.

The Baptism of Jesus
One of the more popular posts on my blog was the one where I drew the comparison between the baptism of Jesus and the Mayan 2012 prophecy. Suggesting that the icon of the event could be a visual representation of the alignment of the the Sun with the centre of our Galaxy and that perhaps this alignment is meant to bring forth some kind of “energy burst” from the heart of the Milky Way. (read more)

The Secret of Sion
According to William Henry in his book The Secret of Sion, Sion or Zion is not a hill in Palestine but is indeed the name of the centre of the Galaxy. Without giving away too much of Henry’s brilliant work, the message we have been given through the eons most recently by Jesus, is that we are all Gods trying to ignite our light bodies in order to make the trip back home, to our “promised land” in Sion, that bulge of light at the centre of the Milky Way.

Based on his research he speculates that some sort of Stargate or wormhole will open and let us pass through it to the galactic core once we have successfully attained our light body. (I urge you to order the book to get the full story. It’s available on the Kindle from Amazon.)

That’s when it hit me that maybe those golden spikes shooting out of Wisdom’s fingertips where meant to represent the same wisdom or enlightenment represented above Jesus’ head at his baptism! But it wasn’t until I backed up about 200 feet that I realized what those ‘spikes’ were pointed at…

The Jesus Prometheus Connection
Prometheus seems to be the target of Wisdom’s golden rays.

When you take in the bigger picture (below) on the right you can see the statue of Prometheus directly beneath Wisdom and wouldn’t you know it…Prometheus’ golden, dare I say “light body”, is standing in a man made waterfall! I am confident that the same encoded message of divine wisdom is being played out in both images, if you are willing to see it.

Are these 2 images mirrors of the same sacred event?

Let’s analyze this for a minute: both Jesus and Prometheus are considered champions of mankind. Both were sent by their Fathers to Earth and were subsequently tortured, Jesus at the hands of the Romans attached to a cross…Prometheus tormented by an eagle who pecked away at his liver daily while attached to a rock.

I am not suggesting that Jesus is Prometheus or vice versa. I believe that there is a strong possibility that both of these stories have a much older common beginning and that there is indeed merit to the concept of a return to Sion, Zion or heaven through the attainment of our light body.

Through the Door
It gets better. I went back through my 2009 pictures and discovered to my amazement what had been sitting there all along. Take a look at the picture below:

Up in the roof of the lobby, is William Henry’s wormhole, disappearing into the heavens. Men of all sizes struggling in vain to build a scaffolding, trying to make their way up into it. A futile task without your light body.

See and Hear
Meanwhile back outside… if everything I’ve presented here isn’t enough to stir your curiosity, take note of the 2 reliefs that flank both sides of Wisdom.

Meet ‘Light’ and ‘Sound’.

As if to ask you: Are you ready to see? Are you willing to hear?

So, are you ready? The Nous Age is here.

The New World Order

Well, the 2012 Olympics in London are officially over and wouldn’t you know…no new world order. The Anti-Christ didn’t win gold, silver or bronze…he never even showed up!

From the unveiling of the 2012 logo which some felt spelt out “Zion”, to the design of the one-eyed London Olympic mascots, the “rainbow riding” Wenlock and Mandeville (below), the conspiracy theories were running as rampant as competitors in Monty Python’s Silly Olympics.

Where Do We Go From Here?
With the no-show new world order at the Olympics I felt it was time to do a brief overview of the misunderstood idea of a New World Order and how the symbols, one in particular, may represent something very real delivered to us through time from an as yet unknown pre-historic people.

Novus Ordo Seclorum
Novus Ordo Seclorum is a Latin Phrase translated as “New Order of the Ages” or for conspiracy theorists, “New World Order”.  And it is usually juxtaposed with the Eye of Providence (all seeing eye of God) floating over an unfinished 4-sided pyramid.

This combination has been used on the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States since 1782 but is most famously displayed in the wallet of every American on the back of the $1 bill (below).

From my work in marketing I understand the power of symbols and this symbol is way more powerful than the symbols for Nike, Pepsi and The Gap combined.

So what does it mean?
The meaning of this symbol is open for interpretation and there are many. What I feel to be the most thought out interpretation comes from David Wilcock in his book The Source Field Investigations: The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations Behind the 2012 Prophecies.

David explains that “the Great Seal may reveal a time-encoded prophecy… [about a coming] Golden Age…believed to begin in 2012.” (pg. 426) (Read the full interpretation in his book.)

Masonic Connection
There’s no doubt in my mind that the symbol is clearly Masonic, used by the men who laid the foundations of the United States of America to relay a message first transmitted by a civilization which pre-dates known history. A civilization which Graham Hancock goes into at great length and detail in his book Fingerprints of the Gods: The Quest For Earth’s Lost Civilization.

Personally, I’m not as convinced as David Wilcock that it’s a symbol of a coming worldwide Golden Age as I am that it’s meant to be interpreted as a personal goal or target for our own evolution to “enlightenment”. As David Wilcock eludes to, the open eye at the pyramid’s top is a clear reference to the pineal gland, which I concur is the seat of our connection to what he calls “The Source Field” and what I refer to plainly as God.

33 Degrees to Enlightenment
I will go into much greater detail in my book about this idea, but, the 33 degrees in Masonic hierarchy are a direct relation to the 33 vertebrae which start at the root chakra (Muladhara) and lead up to the pineal gland at the brow chakra (Ajna)…the following and final step leading to Samadhi or a “non-dualistic state of consciousness”. Likewise, I don’t believe that for the fictitious part of the Jesus Christ story it was a coincidence that he “died” at 33…and made his full transformation to The Light of the World.

Like the symbol of the all seeing eye, the Jesus story is meant to provoke us to our own Samadhi enlightenment. A target for our journey toward a personal new world order!

Doctors Don’t Know Everything
Doctors only know as much about the human body that can be disected from it on a physical level, but it’s the things that cannot be seen with the eyes or the edge of a scalpel that are critical to our existence here on Earth and our connection to the living Universe.

Conclusion
Symbols like we saw at the Olympics are prodding us along, tirelessly trying to wake us up to the supernatural powers we all carry inside of us. I believe we have the power to transform ourselves and in turn to change the world, guided by the symbols we are exposed to, toward what I call The Nous Age.

The Golden Gate Bridge

David Boullata at The Golden Gate Bridge in 2011

LAST SUNDAY IN SAN FRANCISCO the Golden Gate Bridge was celebrated on it’s 75th anniversary. Seeing it on the news brought me back to last summer when I was in The City by the Bay with my family. We walked across the chilly, sometimes foggy span, dodging (and being dodged by) other tourists on rented bicycles. The view, the wind…it was truly a memorable experience.

One of the most recognized landmarks in America, in 2007 The Golden Gate Bridge was declared one of the modern Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers and it is…but what’s with the name, it’s not Golden!? What I discovered while trying to answer that question led me to a mysterious connection to both ancient Egyptian mythology and Christian lore

The Name
According to Wikipedia, the bridge received it’s name from the strait below it that connects the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean. It would be easy to assume that the bridge (and the strait) received their name through the Gold Rush years in California but that in fact is not true.

It was on the 1st of July 1846, 2 years before the first gold was even discovered in California,  that military officer and explorer John C. Fremont wrote in his memoirs about the entrance to San Francisco Bay, “To this Gate I gave the name of ‘Chrysopylae’, or ‘Golden Gate’; for the same reasons that the harbor of Byzantium was called Chrysoceras, or Golden Horn“.

Mirror Images
Now, mirroring old world places in the new world was nothing new (ex. New England, New York, New Rome) but I believe the new world Golden Gate has even greater significance than you may suspect, going back to biblical times and perhaps earlier than that.

This (above) is the Golden Gate in Jerusalem which looks East incidentally, as you enter the city through this gate you are moving West. This is supposedly the gate which Jesus rode through on what became known as Palm Sunday to Christians. According to Jewish tradition they are still waiting for the Messiah to arrive through this gate. The Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent sealed off the Golden Gate in 1541…though it may have been for defensive reasons.

While attending a funeral this past Sunday and trying to locate a water fountain in the columbarium where I was I came across an icon of Jesus, on the back of a donkey riding into Jerusalem through the Golden Gate. I didn’t understand the connection until I remembered my ancient Egyptian mythology.

The Egyptian Golden Gate
Ancient Egyptians associated the East with birth and the West with death, a point of view that most certainly came from the rising and setting Sun. Upon death they believed you would pass through (see: Book of Gates)…you guessed it a Golden Gate! Which brings us right back full circle to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.

It seems that the Golden Gate Bridge is not the only place in San Franciso with an Egyptian connection!

According to Secretsinplainsight‘s video on San Francisco from the De Young Museum and the Trans America Pyramid, to Treasure Island, Angel Island and Alcatraz San Francisco has an overabundance of Egyptian symbolism.

Jesus, Bill Maher and The Fruit of Knowledge

Mural above entrance to Rockefeller Plaza

SOMETIMES THE FURTHER DOWN the rabbit hole I go to research my book, the further it seems I need to go.

While working on unraveling the parallels between ancient Egypt (Khemet) and Christian beliefs I was sidetracked by the story of a Caucasian man, with a beard and flowing robes who brought peace and knowledge to a primative people. At first reading you might immediately suppose I was talking about Jesus, but I’m not.

The Bringer of Peace
This bringer of peace arrived between 15 and 10-thousand years before Jesus to what we now call South and Central America. He was known by a few names: Itzamna, Votan  and Gucumatz, and in the North: Kukulkan and Quetzalcoatl translated to mean ‘Plumed (or feathered) Snake’.

All of the legends state that he arrived from across the Eastern Sea and that he departed saying he would return one day, but couldn’t be more specific. Which makes it easy to understand why native Americans put up no resistance when the Conquistadors arrived in the 16th century…that they believed Cortez with his pale face and shining armour was the return, or ‘second coming’ of their saviour. Oops.

Evil Triumphs
So why did Quetzalcoatl go away? Legend says that the age of enlightenment ended at the hand of Tezcatlipoca, an evil minded god whose name means ‘Smoking Mirror’, after a near cosmic battle. As soon as Quetzalcoatl was gone human sacrifice and over-all bad behaviour was re-instated.

While researchers such as Graham Hancock believe that based on the consistency of the story throughout pre-Columbian society, Quetzalcoatl was indeed a historical figure and not a personification of celestial events. However, could that battle have been the original inspiration for the ancient Egyptian daily battle between Horus (the Sun god) and Set? The never-ending battle between good and evil…?

The Christian Connection
Bring it all forward in time and mix it with the 2nd century Gnostic belief in 2 gods:  one good (the god of the spirit world) and one evil (the god of the material world), the same belief which was later adopted by the Cathar and Bogomils … and you start to have some interesting thoughts. Particularly of the parallel between the Plumed Snake and the Judeo-Christian snake of Eden…tempting Adam and Eve with the fruit of ‘knowledge’.

Bill Maher
As Bill Maher put it in last weeks episode of Real Time with Bill Maher (Episode 240 3:30), “…Adam and Eve…screwed it up for everybody when they ate an apple from the tree of KNOWLEDGE,” and continued, “Rick Santorum home schools his children because he does not want them eating that…apple”.

Ironically, the Cathar who brought equality, peace and knowledge to the North-Western Mediterranean were slaughtered wholesale by the Catholic Church in the 14th century AD, becoming what one could see as “the modern day Tezcatlipoca”. It can only be lamented as to the kind of world we would be living in today had the open mindedness of Catharism been allowed to flourish.

The perpetual battle between good and evil…light and darkness…spirit and matter…continues…

A Clarification

BEFORE WE GO ANY FURTHER I’d like to say that this website (and coming book) is not a “conspiracy theory” website. I realize that a lot of the posts that seem to get the most attention are the secret society revealed posts like:  Jesus’ Baptism and 2012 and Is This Liberty?, but those posts are just investigations into what I have come to believe in, from an anthropologic standpoint.

Here’s What I Believe

  • I believe that the Universe is conscious in a way that we perhaps will never be able to truly understand.
  • I believe that it’s that consciousness that we have mistaken for ‘God’ for the last 5-thousand years and science today is starting to recognize and PROVE that idea scientifically.
  • I also believe there existed at least one (possibly many) pre-historic civilization(s) that already knew this and built their culture(s) around it.

Not only do I believe that everything in this Universe evolved from the same “stuff” (see: Big Bang Theory) over the last 13-billions years, but I also believe that everything in this Universe is animated by the same singular consciousness. A consciousness which existed eternally ∞, even before the existence of space-time.

Levels of Consiousness
While there may be differing levels of consciousness between things… a rock is not at the same level as a tree which is not at the same level as a dog who is not at the same level as a human, etc. …everything is indeed conscious and directly connected to the source consciousness and by default …we are all connected to each other.

This website is a science, meets spirituality, meets archaeology website. I hope that clarifies it. :0)

I know you are as anxious to ask me a question as I am to answer you. You can send me a question by clicking comments below or through VYou.com here

Jesus’ Baptism and 2012

The Milky Way

If you’re lucky enough to live in an area that doesn’t suffer the tragedy of light pollution, you may have become blasé to what I call “the greatest show on Earth”, namely the night sky.

The most profound part of the night sky for me is the thick band of light that goes from horizon to horizon and seems to wrap the Earth in a ribbon of light. In reality it is the edge-on view of our Galaxy, The Milky Way.

From Khemit to Today
From the point of view of ancient Egypt (or as they themselves referred to it, Khemit) the Milky Way seemed like an extension of the life giving Nile River, which seemed to have it’s origin in the Southern horizon (lower Africa) and snaked it’s way North into the Mediterranean Sea. It could be interpreted by them that the Nile was an extension of the heavenly Milky Way “river”.

As I continue the research for my book I have come to believe that a lot of what we know as Abrahamic religious traditions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) have their foundation in the ancient religion of the Khemetians of North Africa and that the traditions of the Khemitians are alive and well in one form or another disguised as Judaeo-Christian stories. One case in point:  the Baptism of The Son of God in the river Jordan.

The Baptism of The Son of God

The Baptism of The Son of God

Imagine that the river Jordan is a metaphor for the Nile/Milky Way and that the Son of God (Jesus) is the Sun. I believe that the so called ‘baptism’ is actually a representation of the conjunction between the rising Sun and the Milky Way, but not just any conjunction, a conjunction between the Sun and the center of our galaxy, and what is known as The Dark Rift.

Conjuntion-juntion, What’s Your Function?
What’s so special about this conjunction? Well it does happen every year on the same date but the next conjunction will have the Sunrise directly in the center of the Dark Rift, the first time in nearly 10,500 years. That date? December 21, 2012…yes, the same date as the misinterpreted end of the world date of the Mayan calendar. I don’t believe that it will be the end of the world, I do believe that it will be the start of some sort of “age of enlightenment”.

Let’s go back to the Baptism of Jesus for a minute and examine the iconography of the event that has been passed down through the ages:

Look at these depictions (below) of the event and notice the always present 3 pronged beam of light placed over Jesus’ head in each of them and/or the white dove which is seen as a symbol of love, peace or as a “messenger”.

Could the encoded message in these icons be that on the day of the “baptism” (ie. conjunction) we could expect some sort of divine connection between us and the Universe to happen? It definitely would change the way we look at Jesus, The Bible and certainly open religions to new interpretations.

New Evidence
I also have uncovered evidence that this same message has been hidden in plain sight in non-religious form similar to the evidence I presented in my Is This Liberty post. But this evidence will have to wait for my book to be completed.

I eagerly look forward to your comment, please enter it below.

IONS: The Institute of Noetic Sciences

I’ve been a fan of Dan Brown’s writing for many years. As someone who grew up on a healthy diet of movies and popcorn, I found his aggressively “cinematic” writing style attractive.

Ironically, in the summer of 2009 when I heard about his (then) forthcoming book, The Lost Symbol, I was on a family vacation to Washington D.C. If you’re familiar with the book you know that it takes place entirely in the U.S. capital. I can honestly say that I don’t think I had ever anticipated a book as much.

When it finally arrived in the familiar brown Amazon box I ripped it open and started in on it on the spot. I think I got through the 1.8 lb (hardcover version) in about a week and a half…was entertained, informed about some very interesting things but most importantly…I discovered the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

What is IONS
A quick Google search brought me to the IONS website and it instantly opened a door to a plethora of information. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t my first exporsure to the information, I had been reading and talking to my friends about the subject for years, but here was an organization who’s entire raison d’être is the study of consciousness…it’s scientific and spiritual implications!

Fast forward to this past week where I found myself sitting comfortably on an airplane, soaring at 36,000 ft. to San Francisco to take part in the 14th International IONS conference titled: Noetic 2.0 Tools and Technologies for a World Transforming

The Highlights
I arrived early for the pre-conference institutes. First up Dean Radin with Daryl Bem and Jonathan Schooler to talk about the evidence and implications of precognition. I’ve known about Dr. Radin’s research since What the (bleep), a movie which also introduced me to the quantum activist himself Amit Goswami, who’s book The Self Aware Universe explained what I had been instinctively feeling about the construct of the Universe for 20 years.

The second pre-conference was a one man show, Rupert Sheldrake on his concept of morphic resonance and the extended mind. I wish I could tell you every mind blowing thing he shared with us but 5 days later I’m still struggling to processing it. Needless to say I downloaded his book Morphic Resonance to my Kindle and am only taking a break from reading it to write this post. I’m anxiously looking forward to his book ‘The Science Problem’ which he says will be out this fall. (NOTE TO AMAZON: find a way to have an author sign the Kindle version of their books, thanks) :0)

One of the emotional highlights for me came on opening night when Dr. Edgar Mitchell the 6th man to walk on the moon and incidentally the founder of IONS got up to speak. The bravery to be able to break from the materialistic world view is hard enough…but that gets compounded when you are such a high profile personality.

Conclusion
I have met so many amazing people with whom I was able to discuss some of my own ideas and interpretations of consciousness sciences. Based on the people I met and seeing the work IONS continues to do we are in for an interesting future.

One Negative Experience
The only downside of the conference was the hotel’s elevators…they were too fast. On the first day I boarded an elevator and found myself alone, face-to-face with Dean Radin, 3.5 seconds was hardy enough time strike up any kind of meaningful conversation. I ended up blurting out something about Chett Snow… :0/

Welcome to The Nous Age

I‘m thrilled you’ve discovered my corner of the world wide web and I hope you decide to jump into the discussions below or at least subscribe in the top right corner. I don’t care if you disagree vehemently or agree with me whole heartedly (or are somewhere in between like most of my readers) I personally invite you to become a part of our discussion.

Why This Website
This website is a sketch pad for my ongoing research, which I plan to publish as a book tentatively titled The Door to The Nous Age. It’s where I am connecting the dots between cutting edge scientific research in quantum physics and psi, and religious traditions from around the world. It’s a place for me to pose theories and hypotheses on this building alignment of science and spirit and what it means to our modern “connected” world. It’s also a place for me to field criticisms and be inspired to move my research into new directions. And along the way, you’ll get a sneak peek into what you can expect from my book.

Full Disclosure
I am neither a scientist nor a theologian and I don’t pretend to be.

What I am is a journalist with an insatiable curiosity and desire for taking things apart to understand why they work and how they work. From a journalistic point of view I am documenting new scientific discoveries and attempting to coorelate them to what religions have been saying for thousands of years. And because I like Indiana Jones so much (who doesn’t), a bit of archeology to help us better understand the world dominant Abrahamic religions and what clues to our past they’ve been hiding in plain site all this time. Is it possible that we are only re-discovering what a civilization that predates known history already knew?

Objectivity
Some would ask what business I have talking about science when I’m not a scientist; or talking about religion when I am likewise not an expert. In two words: objective journalism. I think it’s precisely that I don’t have any so called professional truths to uphold that I am able to explore ideas unencumbered by either religious, scientific or archaeological dogma.

What I Believe
We are in the midst of some kind of paradigm shift, NOT a cataclysmic shift like many doomsday-ers are predicting but simply a change in the way we see ourselves as a society, as a species, as a planet. And this change in perspective that we are moving into is what I call The Nous Age…welcome!
